The mission of the CyberLaboratory Laboratory is to work for the establishment, development and coordination of common national capacities in the following areas:

High Cyber Sustainability and Flexibility of Information and Management Systems;

Exploring digital dependence of society and the economy, risks and cyber-vulnerabilities, prevention and preparation for cyber-attacks and incidents;

Development of standards and methodologies for the design, development and protection of cyber-dependent critical systems and resources, digital ecosystems.

 The vision for the development of the Lab is related to its establishment as a regional center of competence for cyber security in Southeast Europe. The Laboratory aims to catalyze and participate in cyber-specialization in Bulgaria within the EU and NATO.

The cyber security lab is specially designed and equipped to carry out activities in two key areas - cyber security research and development of innovative methods and models.
